Auch mit Coverversionen anderer Künstler sind Status Quo erfolgreich. Ihre Versionen von Rockin’ All Over the World und In the Army Now sind vermutlich bekannter als die Originalfassungen. Der erste Hitparadenerfolg gelang 1968 mit Pictures of Matchstick Men. Über die Jahre hat die Band nach eigenen Angaben weltweit mehr als 118 Millionen Platten verkauft.
